Methods

ges_source_add_effect

gboolean
ges_source_add_effect (GESSource * source,
                       GESBaseEffect * effect,
                       gint index,
                       GError ** error)

Adds effect on top of source, binding it to source so that it follows it to whichever GESTrack(s) source is placed in (see GESSourceTrackMap), instead of being applied to whatever core element happens to share its track.

If source is not yet in a GESClip, the effect is remembered and added once source is parented to one.

Parameters:

source –

a core GESSource

effect ( [transfer: floating]) –

the GESBaseEffect to add on top of source

index –

the priority index for effect within source's effect chain, or -1 to append it at the lowest priority

error ( [nullable]) –

return location for an error

Returns –

TRUE if effect was added.

Since : 1.30

GES.Source.prototype.add_effect

function GES.Source.prototype.add_effect(effect: GES.BaseEffect, index: Number): {
    // javascript wrapper for 'ges_source_add_effect'
}

Adds effect on top of source, binding it to source so that it follows it to whichever GES.Track(s) source is placed in (see GES.SourceTrackMap), instead of being applied to whatever core element happens to share its track.

If source is not yet in a GES.Clip, the effect is remembered and added once source is parented to one.

Parameters:

source (GES.Source) –

a core GES.Source

effect (GES.BaseEffect) –

the GES.BaseEffect to add on top of source

index (Number) –

the priority index for effect within source's effect chain, or -1 to append it at the lowest priority

Returns (Number) –

true if effect was added.

Since : 1.30

GES.Source.add_effect

@raises(GLib.GError)
def GES.Source.add_effect (self, effect, index):
    #python wrapper for 'ges_source_add_effect'

Adds effect on top of source, binding it to source so that it follows it to whichever GES.Track(s) source is placed in (see GES.SourceTrackMap), instead of being applied to whatever core element happens to share its track.

If source is not yet in a GES.Clip, the effect is remembered and added once source is parented to one.

Parameters:

source (GES.Source) –

a core GES.Source

effect (GES.BaseEffect) –

the GES.BaseEffect to add on top of source

index (int) –

the priority index for effect within source's effect chain, or -1 to append it at the lowest priority

Returns (bool) –

True if effect was added.

Since : 1.30

Virtual Methods

create_source

GstElement *
create_source (GESSource * source)

Creates the GstElement to put in the source topbin. Other elements will be queued, like a volume. In the case of a AudioUriSource, for example, the subclass will return a decodebin, and we will append a volume.

Parameters:

source –

The GESAudioSource

Returns ( [transfer: floating]) –

The source element to use.

Since : 1.20

vfunc_create_source

function vfunc_create_source(source: GES.Source): {
    // javascript implementation of the 'create_source' virtual method
}

Creates the GstElement to put in the source topbin. Other elements will be queued, like a volume. In the case of a AudioUriSource, for example, the subclass will return a decodebin, and we will append a volume.

Parameters:

source (GES.Source) –

The GES.AudioSource

Returns (Gst.Element) –

The source element to use.

Since : 1.20

do_create_source

def do_create_source (source):
    #python implementation of the 'create_source' virtual method

Creates the GstElement to put in the source topbin. Other elements will be queued, like a volume. In the case of a AudioUriSource, for example, the subclass will return a decodebin, and we will append a volume.

Parameters:

source (GES.Source) –

The GES.AudioSource

Returns (Gst.Element) –

The source element to use.

Since : 1.20

select_pad

gboolean
select_pad (GESSource * source,
            GstPad * pad)

Check whether pad should be exposed/used.

Parameters:

source –

The source for which to check if pad should be used or not

pad –

The pad to check

Returns –

TRUE if pad should be used FALSE otherwise.

Since : 1.20

vfunc_select_pad

function vfunc_select_pad(source: GES.Source, pad: Gst.Pad): {
    // javascript implementation of the 'select_pad' virtual method
}

Check whether pad should be exposed/used.

Parameters:

source (GES.Source) –

The source for which to check if pad should be used or not

pad (Gst.Pad) –

The pad to check

Returns (Number) –

true if pad should be used false otherwise.

Since : 1.20

do_select_pad

def do_select_pad (source, pad):
    #python implementation of the 'select_pad' virtual method

Check whether pad should be exposed/used.

Parameters:

source (GES.Source) –

The source for which to check if pad should be used or not

pad (Gst.Pad) –

The pad to check

Returns (bool) –

True if pad should be used False otherwise.

Since : 1.20
